This is web installer. This installer will download and install application on request. Available applications are as below.

Rxpos Server
- Installs SQL Server, Rxpos Intranet, and Rxpos Client.
Rxpos Client
- Installs RestaurantXPOS, Rxpos Business Essential, Rxpos Data Listener, Rxpos Audio Player, Rxpos Caller ID, Rxpos IP Updater, Rxpos Print Delivery Order, and Pos for .Net.
Rxpos Kitchen Monitor
- Installs Rxpos Kitchen Monitor
Print Delivery Order
- Installs Pos for .Net, and Rxpos Print Delivery Order (DoorDash and Grubhub only. Not UberEats.)
Cxpos (Server or Client as respected)
- Installs general POS for any kinds of businesses on unlimited number of checkout stations.
Opos Util
- Installs major Opos utilities based on POS printer manufacturer chosen by the end user.
Crypto Monitor
- Installs Rxpos Crypto Monitor
Rxpos Business Essential
- Installs Rxpos Business Essential.
- Required for Restaurantxpos, Cxpos.
- Just download and see how powerful this application is. This application is free to use as long as you are not accepting card payment.
Video Imprinter
- Installs Video Imprinter.

Features

This is stand-alone installer, which stays in a single folder [Rxpos Web Installer].
- After download extract [Rxpos Web Installer.zip] file. Desktop is recommended for easy access.
This installer will not modify your system at all, and each application will be installed in a separate directory.
- c:\Rxpos\Application\APPLICATION_NAME or
- c:\APPLICATION _NAME
Installer has features of [Install], [Remove], [Update] for all applications listed above.
Installer will update installer itself on start, if a new version of installer is found.

System Requirements

Microsoft .Net Framework 4.7.2 Runtime or later. No need for Windows 10 or later.
- Download .Net Framework here. (from Micsofort's official site)
- Download .Net Framework (from this site)
Make sure Microsoft IIS is enabled using [Enable Windows Features] (Rxpos Server only).
- Installer will guide you if not enabled.
- Make sure .Net Framework 3.5 feature is enabled for database station before enabling Microsoft IIS. (Installer will guide.)
Windows 10 Professional on database station. Otherwise, for any client station, Windows 7 Home or later will be OK. (Rxpos applications only).
Database station must have .Net Framework 3.5 enabled. (Rxpos applications only. Installer will guide.)
Windows PC with 32bit or 64bit. 64bit is recommended (All applications).
1GB or more free space. (20GB or more free space if installing Rxpos Server with MS SQL database.)
- Database data file will grow as time goes (Applies to Rxpos Server only).
Internet connection to download this installer and applications.

Download Rxpos Web Installer.zip

Locate [Rxpos Web Installer.zip] in your Download folder.

Extract this zip file to your desktop by adjusting target folder when extracting.

Installing Application

Open extracted [Rxpos Web Installer] folder.

Right click [Rxpos Web Installer.exe], and select [Run as administrator].

Select target application you want to install. Click [Install] button to install.

To Uninstall Any Rxpos Application

Locate [Rxpos Web Installer.exe].
Right click [Rxpos Web Installer.exe], and select [Run as administrator].
Select target application to uninstall.
Click [Remove] button.

To Update Any Rxpos Application

Each application has its own updater. You can also update application using [Rxpos Web Installer.exe].

Locate [Rxpos Web Installer.exe].
Right click [Rxpos Web Installer.exe], and select [Run as administrator].
Select target application to update.

Limitation

Depends on each application.

Threshold

Applications (if applies) contain default threshold amount to start and testing.
When threshold amount becomes 0, target application's key function will stop and display message to guide end users.
Application accepting card payment with Square will be charged developer fee on each transaction.
- Even after developer fee, you will still be better off compared to any card processing company's monthly charge.

Current Threshold Ratio and Default Amount

Below are the current threshold Ratios and Default threshold for each application. $1 purchase of threshold will increase threshold to $1 x Ratio.

Able to select and move any number of videos in editing area. Used to be able to move only 1 video.

Updated purchase module's instruction to show minimum required words in English.

Fixed error on video button move event, which was not reflecting overlapping event correctly.

Fixed error on video button playing event, which was not reflecting precise frame number.

Updated mouse wheel event in panel track to reflect vScroll up or down event.

Purchase module was updated for wait time and displaying response results.

Added video button size entity on Video object, and added module to handle backword compatibility on this issue.

New features added. [Mouse Wheel on Button]

Reflects the target button's size adjused on mouse_wheel event, and updates the target button's size and location based on the target button's location relative to the other buttons. Application will dicide where to relocate the target button based on the other buttons' location. This is very complicated function. End users' action is not requied on this update.

2022/01/05: Error fixed on installing Business Essential using Rxpos Web Installer

Directory name was not match on installing Business Essential.

Minor error fixed on Business Essential also on creating sales report.

2021/12/06: RestaurantXPOS, Rxpos Intranet (This is major update.)

Minor error fixed.

Check numbers in same Global ID will no longer have distinct GID.

Customer receipt and card receipt will contain GID + CHECK NUMBER.

Survey lines are added to STORE COPY on card receipts as option.

To enable, go to [SYSTEM ENVIRONMENT], and enable [Print Survey On Receipt]

Once enabled, survey lines will be printed before the line of the TIP LINE.

Reason doing so is.... Your server will tear off on bad review.

There is no way your server can tear off survey part becasue of the tip line is next to the survey line.

Menu file syncronization was called on shift open or reload action only. Now anythime application starts, syncronization will be called.

Server Rotation feature is added.

By enabling server rotation, tables will be assigned to system assigned server by strickt rotation.

To enable, go to [System Environment], and enable [Apply Server Rotation].

Best practice page is updated to explain this.

Minor error was fixed on Employee window.

On calling all employees regardless currently working or not, there was an error to get correct information on the target employee.

2021/11/29: RestaurantXPOS is updated.

Minor error fiexed on adding a new employee info.

To apply this update, using Rxpos Web installer, select [Rxpos Client] or [Rxpos Server] depending on target station and click [Update].

2021/11/20: RestaurantXPOS is updated.

Minor error fixed for writing log file.

Dll files for writing log is updated.

To apply this update, using Rxpos Web Installer, select [Rxpos Client] or [Rxpos Server] depending on target station and click [Update].

2021/11/19: Ratio for the RestaurantXPOS was increased from 800 to 3,000.

$1 threshold purchase for RestaurantXPOS will increase threashold to $3,000.

Default free amount was adjusted from $16,000 to $60,000 for RestaurantXPOS.

To apply this update, restart RestaurantXPOS application.

[Floor Command] - [Station] - [Shut Down], and restart RestaurantXPOS application.

No other action is required to apply this update.

2021/11/17: Crititcal error fixed on Rxpos Web Installer.

Error on building database. Fixed and tested.

Make sure deleting [Rxpos Web Installer] folder and download [Rxpos Web Installer.zip] file, if you downloaded on or before the update date.

2021/11/15: Tested on IME input for department and menu including description.

End users are able to create menu in language other than English.

Menu Manager was updated reflecting this updated.

Minor errors are fixed.

2021/11/11: Gift certificate module is tested, and fixed minor errors.

Employees can apply certificate to target guest check by using phone, device, or main station.

2021/11/09: Gift certificate is added. Minor error on OrderGateway and Certificate link was fixed.

End user must update RestaurantXPOS, wwwroot,

Gift certificate is not fully tested. This is alpha version. However, end users can test using certificate site.

To test online, go to [Environment] - [Online Config], click [Check] button on Gift Certificate.

To test in-store, go to [Floor Command] - [Cashier] - [Gift Certificate].

2021/10/29: Error fixed on adding tip on splited check by multiple credit card payments on guest check.
